Egbema Okwuzi Community calls total clamp down of illegal oil bunkering and refining


The community leaders, elders in council, community development commitee (CDC), the Okwuzi central youth organization, and even the women's forum in the Okwuzi community have unanimously signed and announced the total clamp down of illegal oil bunkering and refining within the community.

The leaders made a public announcement in the community via a town crier and said all strangers and the indigenous people of Okwuzi Egbema involved in such illegal business should stop.

Henceforth, relative of anyone, sons, or daughters indulging in such pipeline vandalism and oil theft, should kindly call them to order as any victim will be handed over to the Government through the office of DSS in Rivers State.

Illegal oil bunkering and refining has become a major with River State and the entire south south region of Nigeria which has resulted to black soot within Port Harcourt city and its environs.
