Hon Kelechi Nwogu a member of Rivers State House of Assembly representing Omuma state Constituency, unveils Siminialayi Fubara's Billboard in his LGA.
As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) extends its Continuous Voters' Registration Exercise in preparation for 2023 General Elections, the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI), Omuma Chapter has organized a Continuous Voters Registration Sensitization/Awareness programme in the LGA.
In the address by the Chairman of Omuma LGA, Rt. Hon. Christian Chisom Nwaiwu JP, DSO, welcomed Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, Siminialayi Fubara, represented by the Secretary of the GDI and Chairman of Ikwerre LGA, Chief. Dr. Samuel Nwanosike and his entourage to Omuma land.
The Omuma Council Boss, urged his people, especially those eligible to vote, to treat this opportunity as important. He also appreciated the leadership of GDI in Omuma, for initiating and executing the impactful programme for the people.
The Coordinator of GDI, Omuma Chapter, Hon. Stanley Eze Nwuju, in his address, emphasized on the importance and need for those that are yet to be registered in the ongoing voters registration, to utilize this opportunity or window by INEC to get it done.
He enjoined the people of eligible voting age to take advantage, and join the exercise as their voice will be heard through their PVCs come 2023.
Also speaking at the event, the PDP candidate for Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency, Hon Kelechi Nwogu, eulogized the PDP Governorship flag bearer for identifying with Omuma LGA.
He used the medium to unveil the Billboard of the GDI Patron and Governorship candidate, Siminialayi Fubara, and pledged the unwavering and undivided support of Omuma people to him and the Party.
The Law Maker, further thanked His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike, whom he described as the "Face of Democracy" for making Rivers State proud, and making the state the center of attraction politically. He extolled Nyesom Wike, and pledged his loyalty and that of his people to his political course.
Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, urged the people of Omuma to partake in the ongoing voters registration exercise, as it will enable them vote in their preferred candidate, and it also serves as their only viable tool to flush the bad government of APC in Nigeria come 2023.
Siminialayi Fubara, ably represented by the Secretary of GDI (Worldwide), Chief. Dr. Samuel Nwanosike, thanked the people of Omuma for connecting to the widespread 5G SIM network in Rivers State.
Dr. Wanosike, expressed joy over the large turnout of Omuma people.
He described Omuma LGA, under the visible leadership of Kelechi Nwogu, as a stronghold of the PDP in Rivers State, hence the victory of SIM Fubara in Omuma is sacrosanct.
The Secretary of GDI, also advised Omuma people to heed to the advise of their leaders by getting their PVCs, as it is the only way to actualize the vision of the party come 2023.
He assured the stakeholders and people of Omuma, that he will extend their goodwill messages and wishes to their son Siminialayi Fubara.
