INEC national Commissioner for voter education and information visit Rivers State warns of double registration



The INEC national Commissioner for voter education and information, Festus Okoye is in Port Harcourt on a working visit to Rivers State.

While in Port Harcourt, he is monitoring the progress of the CVR exercise at the State office Centre he also addressed the registrants at the State office.

He however commended them for their peaceful conduct and assured them that every registrant who turns up to be registered will be attended to by the Commission.
He further reminded those who are trying to engage in double registration that their efforts will be in futility as the Commission will detect their existing biometrics and will not produce their Permanent Voters Card.
