Price of bread to increase in Rivers State according to bakers association of Nigeria

Due to Russia and Ukraine conflict, wheat price in Africa moved upto 60% this has affected some wheat product including bread across the continent.

Bread bakers in Rivers State today say residents should brace up for an increase in the price of bread.

Chairman of the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria, in the State, Chidi Emmanuel Orlu told said it followed a hike in the price of baking materials.

Mr. Orlu however called on residents of Rivers State to adjust to the new prices and face realities.
