Rivers State Taskforce On Sanitation Organises Refresher Training For Enforcement Team
Determined to fulfil its mandate as directed by His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State Taskforce on Sanitation on Friday organised a training programme for the recently inaugurated Enforcement Team.
Coordinated by a member of the Taskforce, Princess Ibiene Ogan, the training schedule had in attendance experts from diverse fields including Nigerian Police, legal expert, among others.
Opening the program, Princess Ogan stressed the need for the Enforcement Team to be responsible and operate within the ambit of its set up.
Also speaking, a member of the Taskforce on Sanitation, Hon Josiah Olu reiterated their determination to rid the streets of Port Harcoury and Obio/Akpor of refuse and indiscriminate dumping in unauthorised places.
Chairman of the Taskforce on Sanitation, Hon Isobo Jack called on the Enforcement Team members to do their jobs seriously and not use it to witch-hunt anybody.
