Security agencies have taken over the state secretariat over Battle for Leadership of NLC River State chapter

Security agencies have taken over the state secretariat of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State

The office is now under lock and key following leadership crisis rocking the union in the state

It was gathered that some members of the NLC in the state are asking the state chairman of the NLC comrade Beatrice Itubo to step aside having emerged candidate of the Labour party in the state and handover to Mr Emecheta Chukwu.

Mr Emecheta Chukwu is the chairman of the state joint action committee of the NLC but Beatrice Itubo is insisting on the being the chairman of Labour body.
