Atiku Abubakar assures PDP gubernatorial candidate in Zamfara state of insuring his victory in 2023.

Atiku Abubakar has assured the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic party in Zamfara state that he will work to ensure victory for the party in 20203. 

Atiku said this in his Abuja residence when the gubernatorial candidate and some party stakeholder made a courtesy visit to him.

Atiku said that Zamfara needs to be rescued and that can be achieved by voting out APC from the state. Recall that Zamfara state governor Bello Matawalle got into office on the platform of Peoples Democratic party but latter defected to All Progressive congress.

Lawal who led the delegation, informed Atiku that the stalwarts who came with him are big harvest for PDP in Zamfara state, considering the caliber, status, and political values. That they all left the APC to PDP.
