The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar may be heeding to calls to unite the party for the battle head as there are indications that he plans to visit Governor Nyesom Wike with some PDP bigwigs.
Many political pundits and PDP faithfuls have been calling on Atiku to ensure peace in the party by reaching out to Governor Nyesom Wike's camp or ignore them at his peril.
Wike and some other PDP governors and party faithfuls has been aggrieved over what they term as insult and betrayal to the Rivers State Governor after they voted for him to be the vice presidential candidate of the party which Atiku ignored.
Though Wike who has been silent over the issues of his rejection by Atiku Abubakar returned from Turkey on Saturday after a brief holiday and said he remains a member of PDP.
We wait weeks ahead to see any possible meeting for reconciliation.
