The owner of Adeleke University Dr. Deji Adeleke has warned the Osun State Governor-Elect.
Dr. Deji said he will oppose his brother if he derails.
He made this known during the convocation ceremony at Adeleke University, in Ede, Osun State.
He said the governor elect does not have Godfather hence he is not paying back money to anyone, therefore it should positively affect the living conditions of Osun people.
Here is what he said, “I told the governor-elect and his colleagues, you are lucky because you don’t have any godfather to refund any money to, therefore whatever people contributed to your election is a sacrifice for a better Nigeria, for a better state (Osun State)
“So, you and your colleagues are not under any pressure.
"The only thing you need to do out there is to go and serve the people."
"I threatened them that I would be the first to call a press conference if I see things going wrong with his government".
"I will be the first to alert the world that your governor is derailing and I have told him and his team not to allow anyone that is not ready to serve; anyone that his focus is to come and look for money, to steal from the poor people, into the team."
Deji Adeleke is the elder brother of Osun State Governor-Elect Ademola Adeleke and father to David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.
There are speculations that he contributed immensely towards the success of his brother at the poll.
