Emohua LGA chairman and his people hold thanksgiving service after a long week of commissioning of projects.

After a week long activities and commissioning of projects, the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd on Sunday led officials of the local government council and the good people of the area to a thanksgiving in commemoration of his administration's one year anniversary at St Michael's Anglican church, Evekwu, Emohua LGA.

The council chairman and his wife, Adanma Chidi-Lloyd accompanied by leaders of Emohua LGA and friends of the LGA from far and near danced to the altar of God in appreciation for the council chairman's achievements within one year, as well as a successful harvest of projects which ended yesterday with the commissioning of 1 kilometer Evekwu road.

Evekwu community still basking in the euphoria of the commissioning which is the first ever tarred road in the community, executive by the administration of Dr Chidi Lloyd and commissioned yesterday by the Governor of Rivers State, H.E Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

During the thanksgiving service, the Chairman pledged on behalf of his family to undertake the construction of a new church building for St. Michael's Anglican church Evekwu, in appreciation of God's unlimited favour upon his family.

Highlights of the thanksgiving service was the presentation of special recognition and gifts to the council chairman.
