In 2023, Ogonis Will Rather Jump Into Water Than Be Slaves – Abe.

Sen. Magnus Ngei Abe said in 2023, the Ogoni ethic nationality will rather jump into the river than be slaves to anyone.

Abe disclosed this in a statement over the weekend during his conferment of chieftaincy title said they will contest and bring in a government that will be fair to everybody in the state.

According to him, "no one person can decide who governs the state as the power to do so lies with Rivers people.

“In 2023, Ogonis will rather jump into water than be slaves….

We will contest.. and bring a government that will be fair to everybody,” he said.

He urged people of the state to register for the ‘Project SMA2023″ and for their Permanent Voters Card to elect credible leaders.

Abe reiterated that he must be on the ballot in next year’s governorship election.
