The Hon. National Commissioner Supervising Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers States, Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu was in Rivers State for a working visit from Monday July 25th - Tuesday July 26th 2022.
During the visit, she toured Ikwerre LGA, Obio-Akpor LGA, Port Harcourt LGA and Emohua LGA to assess the ongoing CVR exercise, the level of PVC Collection and to have an on-the-spot assessment of the facilities in these LGAs in preparation for the 2023 General Elections.
She also monitored the State office Registration Centres and interacted with prospective registrants.
She further briefed the Press on her observations during the tour and met with the Management of INEC Rivers State to strategize on best ways to increase the rate of PVC Collection in the State.
She is scheduled to also visit other states under her supervision.
