Magnus Abe in a substitution primary election has finally emerged as Rivers State SDP Governorship candidate

Senator Magnus Abe has finally emerged as Rivers State SDP Governorship candidate in Rivers State. Senator be polled 30 votes in a substitution primary election conducted by the party in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

Magnus Abe who recently confirmed that he has left the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State and he's now in Social Democratic Party has always insisted that he will be in the ballot in 2023 governorship election.

Meanwhile Abe is from Rivers state south east senatorial district and they are yet to produce a governor in Rivers state.

But Rivers East and Rivers west have so far produced governors of the state since 1999 but the Riverine who are mostly of Rivers west are agitating that it is their turn to produce the next governor.

Having being in the mainstream politics of Rivers State since 1999, will Abe be able to win the election? that we await to see as the PDP governorship candidate is from same senatorial district with him.
