Nigeria listed among Top ten countries with highest inflation rate by world bank

Nigeria’s inflation rate increased to 16.95% in 2021, from 13.25% recorded in the previous year. Nigerians has been complaining of high cost of living as the inflation rate has been increasing YOY.
The inflation rate further increased to 17.71% between April and May, 2022. There are speculations that the inflation may likely increase when the Nigeria Bureau of statistics releases the inflation figure for the month of June, 2022 because of the rise in cost of production and services.
