2022 Batch B Stream 1 corps members deployed to Rivers state orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai last night had fun to the fullest.
This was as a result of the Miss NYSC, Big, Bold and Beautiful, BBB and Macho contest which held to their admiration and cheer.
The Night attracted streams of sponsors who came to add value and color to it such as Beat FM and Naija FM Port Harcourt as well as HYPO super whitening bleach.
Declaring the night open, Rivers state Coordinator, gorgeous George Mfongang urged the corps members to imbibe the attitude of finding time to "relax, laugh and unwind after the hustles and bustles of daily struggles, noting that a relaxed and happy mind is key for a strong body and a healthy mind."
In their separate remarks, sponsors of the night through their sales' representatives appreciated the NYSC management for partnering them in providing quality fun and entertainment to the corps members.
They noted that they chose to identify with the corps members and the Scheme as "a way of giving back to the Nigerian graduate youths and leaders of tomorrow".
Earlier in her welcome remark, the go-getter, super dazzling and sprawling beauty Head of Socials, Mrs. Alzin Odok had welcomed the Coordinator, top management of the camp, the sponsors and corps members to the event.
She thanked the sponsors for digging deep into their pockets to provide the quality gift items on display for the winners of the contests.
She equally appreciated them for the extra mile gone in providing music, food and drinks as refreshments noting that the gesture would not have been possible if not for their love for the NYSC Scheme.
The night featured performances by high rise artistes, talented AOPs, top notch DJs, MCs and comedians.
Not left out was performances from up and coming corps artistes who also dazzled the audience.
At the end of the contests, 1 platoon won Miss NYSC, 9 platoon Macho and 8 platoon Big, Bold and Beautiful.
