The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution, PHED visited Rivers State Police Commissioner CP Friday Eboka in his office at Moscow Road in Port Harcourt.
The company requested the commissioner to empower officers of the command to assist them in tackling vandalism, by-passing of prepaid meter and staff assault by customers.
They requested the command to arrest those found culpable of these offences which generally affect the company.
While assuring them that all their concern will be be handled and transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Command for investigationbe before justice can be served, he noted that both organisations are public servants therefore there's need for collaboration.
The PHED team were led by the their new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, MD/CEO, Dr. Benson Uwheru.
