Rivers State Government have signed contract with Julius Berger for the construction of additional two flyover bridges at Ikwerre Road/Rumuola-Rumuokwuta junction, Mgbuoba-Ada George Road junction, and the dualization of Azikiwe and Iloabuchi road.
The Governor said the road dualization project will be completed within 6 months, while the flyover bridges will be completed within 10 months timeline.
The state Governor chief Nyesom Wike during the contract signing processes in the state government house said the contractor will receive two billion naira every month.
Recall rivnews had reported that two additional flyover will be build by Wike led administration before it expires.
The signing ceremony began immediately the state governor finished hosting Rivers United football club as the winners of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title for 2021/2022 season.
