Rivers state NYSC Coordinator advices corp members to Trust themselves and not lookdown on their humble beginning

Rivers state NYSC Coordinator, Mr. George Mfongang has admonished corps members to "trust themselves and not look down on their humble beginnings".

He gave this admonition when he debriefed the 2022 Batch B Stream 1 corps members at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai.

Mr. Mfongang used the occasion to inform the corps members to make the best out of the service year in the community where they are to serve by "being patriotic, committed, loyal to the ideals and values of the NYSC Scheme amongst other positive attitudes worthy of emulation".

He charged them to "detest and shun all forms of corrupt tendencies and be role models and ambassadors of the Scheme".

Speaking further, the Rivers state NYSC Team Lead advised the corps members against "unauthorized journeys, traveling beyond 6.00pm, boarding vehicles outside designated motor parks, negative use of social media, online relationships, fighting, immoral behavior, peddling fake news amongst other vices capable of putting them in a harm's way".

The Coordinator appreciated the corps members and officials for their high level of "discipline, synergy and dedication to duty which made the camping exercise successful.
