Rivers state primary health care management board visit khana LGA to renovate and bring back all health centres to use

Rivers state primary health care management board visited the khana local government chairman Dr. Bariere Thomas to intimate him on the boards intension to renovate and bring back to use primary health centres within the local government.

The medical doctor in charge of Khana primary health management board Dr. Christian Kina introduced the team led by Dr. Abiriye Harry the permanent secretary of the ministry and Dr. Mrs. Ofor who was the former permanent Secretary free medical care and now head of special service unit of the state primary health management board.

They where on a fact finding mission to ascertain the state of primary health centres in Khana Local Government Area.
The team lead and permanent Secretary Dr. Harry said there's need to get the dilapidated centres renovated and running before news centres can be set up.
The Khana Local government boss in his responds said his administration have always partnered with the board in any of its programmes and this was not going to be an exception. He promised that accommodation and security will be guaranteed in making sure their job is carried out successfully when they fully get the centres running. He thanked the team for the visit and prayed that their aim is achieved for the benefit of Khana people.
