Vice Chairman of Degema Local Government Council, Hon Maureen Harry visit H.E. Mrs. Ipalobo Harry Banigo Deputy governor of Rivers state in her office.
The deputy Governor said she was delighted to receive the Vice Chairman of Degema Local Government Council.
The vice chairman shared progress reports from the Council including the gender friendly work environment created by the Executive Chairman, Hon Michael John Williams, with the deputy governor and showed her a recently procured official vehicle she received from the council.
The deputy governor commended Hon Michael John Williams for towing the line of gender friendly Governor, His Excellency, Chief Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, who created the opportunity for women to attain the Vice Chairmanship positions in all the 23 Local Government Councils in the State.
