A woman called "Mama Biafra" who was arrested by DSS for month has been released today

Ejiofor one of Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers on sunday said madam Ukamaka Ejezie has been released by the DSS.

The woman who is 80-year-old, fondly called 'Mama Biafra', was arrested during Nnamdi Kanu’s court appearance at the Federal High Court, Abuja on May 18, 2022.

Reason for the arrest was not known has she was being in detened for months.

Ejiofor said, "I am very delighted to inform you all that Ukamaka Ejezie (Mama Biafra) has regained her freedom. She is now out of DSS dungeon. Thank the Chukwuokike Abiama for this huge success.

"We in the legal team, are doing everything legally permissible to make it happen, we are not resting on our oars at all, be assured. Forward ever and backward never". He stated.
