Description of Omagwa Internal Roads by the commissioner for works George-Kelly

During the flag-off of Omagwa Internal Roads today, the Commissioner for works made some disclosure about the Roads.

Providing the project description, the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Dr. George-Kelly D. Alabo said the Omagwa Internal Roads network has 12 roads inter-connected.

He said: "This project has 12 roads inter-connected, these 12 roads make up the scope called Omagwa Internal Roads. 

"The total length of the road is 10.95 kilometres and the total length of drain is 21.9 kilometres. These roads have two widths, the first set are 8.3 metres width and the second set are 7.3 metres width. 

"The completion period of this road is ten months. It is going to have two sides drains, 350 millimetres thickness filling of sand and 150 millimetres thickness of stone base," he stated.
