Governor Nyesom Wike reportedly sanctions Hon. Austin Opara, Sir. Celestine Omehia for meeting with Atiku

The leader of PDP in Rivers State, governor Nyesom Wike's squabbles with Atiku Abubakar may affect the party’s chances of winning the governorship seat if things are not made aright as Governor Nyesom wike has reportedly sanctioned, Rt Hon Austin Opara and Sir  Celestine Omehia for attending a meeting with Atiku Abubakar. 

The duo are former Deputy speaker House of Representatives and former governor of Rivers State (though removed by court).

They are also leaders of PDP in Ikwerre and Port Harcourt LGAs respectively.

Is been reported that Rt Hon Austin Opara and Sir Celestine Omehia have been removed as the leader of phalga PDP and replaced with Hon Ken Chikere. While that of Ikwerre has been replaced by the LGA chairman, Samuel Nwanosike.

According to insider information to rivnews, these leader plan to remain in PDP and work for Atiku Abubakar in the state while supporting the social Democratic Party candidate Senator Magnus Abe.
