The approved severance packages by Bayelsa state Governor for Local Government Administrationhas been paid out.
The allowances have been paid to all elected Local Government officials who just completed their 3-years tenure in Bayelsa State.
The financial and administrative discipline introduced into the Local Government administration by the state Government made it possible for them to benefit.
This has helped Bayelsa State, Local Government Councils not only embark on meaningful projects after payment of salaries, they now have savings for future financial engagements.
Commissioner for Local Government affairs has applauded the state Governor, saying he has changed the face of LG administration in Bayelsa State.
