Rivers state former Commissioner for Employment raises alarm over plan to seal off his hospital

A former Commissioner for Employment in Rivers State, Leloonu Nwibubasa, is alleging that there are plans by the Rivers State Government to arrest him and seal off his hospital over claims that he treats suspected cultists.

Dr. Nwibubasa who is an ally of Senator Lee Maeba and a supporter of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, says no amount of threat can stop him from exercising his franchise.

Dr. Nwibubasa also narrated how the Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Thomas Bariere, allegedly sent thugs to invade a pro-Atiku meeting that held in Bori at the weekend.

When contacted, the Chairman of Khana Local Government Council, Thomas Bariere, said the interest of the government is to maintain peace and security of the area, that the police are investigating the matter.
