Rivers state NYSC Coordinator advises corps members as they complete 21days orientation camp in Nonwa.

Corps members have been advised to live communally in their places of primary assignment, as this will help them to watch over one another as their brother's keepers.

Rivers state NYSC Coordinator, Mr. George Mfongang gave the advice today when he briefed the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 corps members.

He explained that when corps members live together in an accomodation, such Corpers Lodge, issues of security breaches are reduced to the barest minimum.

On access to free medical care when they get sick, Mr. Mfongang charged the corps members to build on the knowledge gained during the NHIA sensitization as well as interface with their LGIs at all times.

Speaking further, Mr. Mfongang encouraged the corps members to be agents of positive change in the community where they are to serve through a disciplined, exemplary and transparent leadership at all times.

He warned against unauthorized journeys especially, night travels pleading that they must discontinue with any journey that will exceed 6.00 pm and continue the next day.

The Rivers state NYSC Team Lead concluded by encouraging the corps members to "use the social media wisely and avoid contents that will divide instead of unite the country".

The debriefing had in attendance eminent camp officials and witnessed the inauguration of Service Vanguards who are to promote efficient service delivery and report service failure.

Outstanding camp officials were also rewarded at the event.
