SDP Factional chairman threaten to nullify substitution primary election that Magnus Abe won.

After the substitution primary election of social democratic party (SDP) in Rivers State, which Magnus Abe emerged victorious, two factions have now emerged in the party.

This may affect the party and senator Magnus Abe's preparation towards their 2023 governorship election in the state as a factional chairman stated the a competent court of jurisdiction will determine the authentic candidate.

He sited similar incident in Ekiti state as a case study, he vowed to nullify the substitution primary election

But Abe seem not perturbed has he wrote via his verified Facebook page today thanking the party for finding him worthy to fly the party's flag.

Her said: ''I was Live on Arise TV last night with the veteran journalist Reuben Abati where I used the opportunity to specially thank the Social Democratic Party (SDP), particularly the Rivers delegates, who found me worthy to be given the platform as the gubernatorial candidate of the party, for the 2023 elections.''
