Former Governor of Plateau State Senator Jonah Jang performed the flag-off of Omagwa Internal Roads on Invitation of Rivers State governor on Saturday.
Performing the flag-off, Senator Jonah Jang, said he knows what it takes to do the kind of thing Governor Wike is doing in Rivers State and he appreciates it because he was once a governor.
Senator Jang described Rivers State in the last seven years under Governor Wike as a centre of unprecedented infrastructural development in the country.
He said: "I noticed that numerous infrastructural development have occurred in Rivers State in the last seven years of Governor Nyesom Wike's administration, this is unprecedented.
"Having been governor myself, I know what it takes to do the kind of things he is doing here. I want to congratulate the people of Rivers State for choosing a dynamic and hardworking man who has put all his energy in giving you dividends of democracy.
"How I wish this is happening all over Nigeria. The country needs leaders with the lion heart of Wike to be able to spread development. Once again I congratulate you, your deputy and your entire cabinet for the wonderful work you are doing in Rivers State," the Senator added.
