The Federal High court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjourned to the 13th of September 2022 on the suit filed by PDP against Accord party   over alleged noncompliance to new electoral.

When the matter was mentioned in court, counsels to Accord, Abdulh

Ameed Mohammed and the Counsel for Accord National Assembly candidates, ABIODUN OWONIKOKO moved motions on notice to regularize their process.

Correspondent Ayo Odungweru reports that Counsel to PDP, DEN NWEIGWE on his part also filed an application to join more defendants in the suit.

Justice Stephen Daylop-Pam after listening to the motions and applications adjourned till 13th of September, for hearing.

Speaking to journalists outside the courtroom, Counsel to Accord, Abdulhameed Mohammed  and 3rd to 16th defendants who are Accord National Assembly candidates, Abiodun Owonikoko explained what transpired in court and why they filed the preliminary objections.

In  an interview, the Governorship candidate of Accord, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs expressed displeasure that a political party is ready to nominate candidates rather than allowing Rivers people to choose who leads them in different political positions.
