Thousand of APC supporters welcome Gov. Lalong as he returns to plateau state after his unveilment as Tinubu campaign DG

Governor Lalong returns back to Jos, Plateau state after his Unveiling as the Director General of Tinubu/ Shettima Campaign Council.

The national chairman of All progressive congress led the party presidential candidate and vice to meet the President Buhari where he the announcement that Simon Lalong will be the campaign director of the party for the 2023 presidential election.

Thousand of APC supporters came out to welcome the governor as he arrived the state capital. 

There has been speculation that the choice of  Plateau state governor Mr Lalong, a Christian from the North central part of Nigeria, is perhaps a move to appease those against Muslim - Muslim  ticket.
