A youth leader in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia state has alleged that the kidnapping spree in the LGA is being carried out Fulani herdsmen.
The LGA youth chairman price Emma Uche called on the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to come to their rescue.
He asked senator Ohabunwa when he visited the area to leverage his closeness to Governor Nyesom Wike for possible assistance since Rivers State have had similar or worse security challenge in the past. The youth leader said Rivers governor has experience because he has fought militants, cultist and criminals.
The youth leader said: "We know you are very close to Wike and he is your man. Please, tell him to assist us in this security challenge we have because Rivers State have had worse situation before.
"Please tell him to send to us some of the equipment he used to fight insecurity which he is no longer using."
