Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria and Federal College of Fisheries in Rivers are ready to commence academic programme

The Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria says it is ready to begin full academic programme at the newly established Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Ngo in Andoni Local Government Area.

Executive Secretary of the Council, Professor Gar'ba Sheributu said this while speaking at inspection of the Agricultural Research Council to the temporary campus of the institution.

Also, Provost of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Research, Doctor Chu k Onuorah said the institution is ready to begin full operation in Ngo Town. 

Responding, Executive Chairman of Andoni LGA, Erastus Awortu commended the management of the institution for approving the request of the Member Representing Andoni-Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Doctor Awaji-Inombek Abiante to cite the school in Ngo Town.

Earlier the member Representing Andoni-Opobo Nkoro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Doctor Abiante appreciated the federal government for approving the takeoff of the institution.
