The All Progressive Congress Governorship flag bearer in Rivers State, today visited chief Samson Agbaru a former secretary to Rivers state Government and former president General of Ogbakor Ikwerre socio cultural group.
After the visit Tonye Cole said: "It was an honor to meet the former Secretary to the State Government in Rivers State, Chief Samson Agbaru Ojigbute (Oji Oja of Ikwerre Land).
We sat to discuss matters pertaining to the state, the coming elections, and Nigeria as a whole. His insight and wisdom on these matters were profound."
There are indications that his visit is was to officially notify the elder statesman about his aspiration.
