Former Ekiti State Governor, Peter Fayose has appealed to the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar to unite the party ahead of next year's election.
Fayose made this appeal during the commissioning of community secondary school Obuama in Harry's town Degema Local Government Area.
The former governor urged Atiku Abubakar not to allow the politicians around him to advise him against doing what is right for the party.
Fayose while describing Governor Nysom Wike as the soul of the PDP urged the Rivers State Governor to continue his support for the party.
Meanwhile, Governor Nysom Wike said his administration would focus on development of other sectors apart from road construction.
Wike however said he focused more on roads because they brings development and boost the economy.
Governor Wike however explained that his administration carried out more projects on road construction as it brings development to the people.
