The Police Community Relations Committee, Rivers State Command today, 27th October,2022 honoured the Rector, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola, Port Harcourt, Dr.(Barr.) Samuel B. Kalagbor, fnim, as SECURITY ICON in maintaining peace and tranquility in the Polytechnic over the years and his Sterling support for the police and PCRC his home division.
The ceremony took place at the Conference Hall of Alfred Diette Spiff Civic Centre, Port Harcourt as part of activities marking the 2022 Police Community Relations Committee, Rivers State Command Workshop & Training Programme with the THEME: ELECTION VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT.
Dr. Kalagbor was accompanied to the event by his beautiful wife, Dr.(Mrs.) Victoria Osaruchi Sam-Kalagbor, Principal Officers of the Polytechnic, family members, friends, well wishers, staff and students of the Polytechnic.
Speaking after the award, Dr. Kalagbor said the honour will spur him to do more for his community and the Institution.
