LP party presidential candidate Peter Obi Explains his Deal with Aggrieved five PDP Governors

Labour party presidential candidate Peter Obi said the deal he has with some aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party is for a better Nigeria.

Obi who was in Makurdi during a visit to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, said he and the PDP Governors have a common interest in finding a better Nigeria.

He said "The only deal I have with them (PDP Aggrieved governors) is that they are passionate about Nigeria,"

The presidential candidate criticised the All Progressive Congress for displaying a lack of leadership amid increasing security threat and a humanitarian crisis in the country.

He however eulogised Governor Ortom for confronting insecurity challenges in Benue state at personal risk and comfort.

The Benue Governor in his responds, advised Peter Obi to negotiate power with other leading presidential candidates with a commitment to serve the people.

He reiterated that if he was not a member of the PDP, he would have been working for him to actualise his ambition.

Recall that the five aggrieved PDP governors include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Okezie Ikepeazu of Abia state, and Mr Ortom of Benue.
