The Executive chairman of Oyigbo LGA Hon. Okechukwu Akara donated two siena operational vehicle as he vited the Commissioner of Police, CP. Friday Eboka

 

As part of the administration's resolve to ceaselessly combat insecurity and other related crimes in Oyigbo LGA , Hon. Akara, on behalf of the council, donated two operational vehicles ( Siena ) to the Rivers State Command of the Nigerian Police to enable them comb the nooks and crannies of Oyigbo with ease .

Presenting the vehicles to the police, the Council Boss stated as follows:

"As a government, the protection of the lives and properties of our people is our paramount obligation, and by the special grace of God, this administration has lived up to that expectation.

To further consolidate our security measures, we decided to donate these operational vehicles to the police, to enable them operate swiftly in fishing out those criminal elements in our dear Local Government".

While receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Rivers State Command of the Nigerian Police, the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, stated that every serious government prioritizes the security and welfare of it's people. He also thanked the Council Boss for not neglecting the security of the lives and properties of his people.

In conclusion, He reiterated on the readiness of the command to swing into actions, as the vehicles will be judiciously put to use and in accordance to the reason it was donated .
