The Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Vincent Job, says his government will set up six Internally Displaced Persons', IDPs camps across the local government area.
The LGA boss said the camps would provide temporary accommodation for flood displaced persons in the area.
He who spoke ro newsmen in Omoku the Local Government headquarters.
Mr Job said the camps would be located at Ndoni, Egbema, Omoku, Obite, and Ogbidi for Usomini axis, he said the government was concerned about the lives and property of those living in flood-prone areas of the local government area.
He however urged the Federal Government, State, and donor agencies to come to the aid of the affected victims.
