Governor Adeleke direct all formal officials to Return Govt Properties in their possession Within 48 Hours

On Wednesday, the spokesperson for Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed, in a statement said the the newly swon in Governor of Osun State has directed that all former Government officials should return all government properties in their possession.

The directive was sequel to large scale diversion of government assets by top officials of the immediate past administration of Gboyega Oyetola.

According to his statement, “Several official vehicles are missing while official records indicated that two third of former state officials left with fleet of car in their office.

Rasheed noted that any former official who refuses to comply with the directive will face the full weight of the law.

Recall that the Governor, who was sworn in on Sunday froze all government accounts and also reversed the state’s name from the State of Osun to Osun State.
