Former NIMASA DG Dakuku Peterside meet with president Tinubu at the presidential villa on a private talk

The former director general of NIMASA and Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State Dr. Dakuku Peterside has informed the public that he met Mr. President to discuss issues about Nigeria.

He said During the penultimate week, I was privileged to hold a private engagement with the President / Commander-in-Chief, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

I shared my ideas on how government can make a maximum impact on the well-being of our citizens.

Our discussion was extensive, covering a wide array of development-related topics, including matters of particular importance to my beloved Rivers State and the Niger Delta region.

The President expressed his appreciation for the work I had previously undertaken at NIMASA (Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency) and conveyed his commitment to engaging with all citizens who have valuable ideas to contribute to the growth and progress of our nation.

I was particularly pleased to hear that the President found merit in my contributions to nation-building, especially through my weekly columns.

Our dialogue will continue as we work together to ensure that our country assumes its rightful place on the path to prosperity and development.
