How Tinubu and PDP governors intervened over Governor fubara's planed inpeachment

Bola Tinubu the president of Nigeria and the Peoples Democratic Party governors have intervened to stop the impeachment moves against Rivers State Governor Sir, Siminalayi Fubara.

President Tinubu conferred with the embattled governor and his predecessor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja after the Police Commission meeting.

This was disclosed by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, shortly after the Nigeria Police Council meeting as both Wike and Fubara had attended the meeting as they both shook hands.

Meanwhile, some youth had attempted to invade the official residence of the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, in Port Harcourt, but they were repelled by the Nigeria police, who dispersed them with gunshots as they were demanding Amaewhule’s eviction, claiming that he was no longer the House Speaker.
