The Executive Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Christian Chisom Nwaiwu , received the leadership of Golden women of Etche/Omuma in his Port Harcourt residence, today.
The Council Boss thanked the women for making out time to visit him and for their unflinching loyalty to the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Chisom informed the women that Etche nation will experience practical leadership and pragmatic representation if Hon. Kelechi Nwogu is elected as a member of the Federal House of Representatives in 2023.
The Chairman asked the Golden women to remain committed as PDP members and faithful women of Etche nation reap the good seeds of their active participation in no distant time.
He said:
"We are committed to sending Hon. Kelechi Nwogu to Abuja so that Etche would have a taste of youthful and quality representation which will bring the needed change and the desired voice".
Responding, the Coordinator of the women group and former Vice Chairman of Etche LGA, Hon. (Mrs.) Uche Ken, Hon. Mrs. Mercy Ukulor and Hon. Mercy all thanked the Executive Chairman for granting them a friendly reception.
They eulogized the Council boss for his policies and programmes that have brought transformation to Omuma LGA.
While also showing their unflinching support for the realization of the people-oriented leadership agenda to be championed by Hon. Kelechi Nwogu in the house of Representatives in 2023.
The Golden Women of Etche/Omuma is a pro Kelechi Nwogu's political organization headed by Hon. Mrs. Uche Ken Ndukwu, comprising women from Etche LGA and Omuma LGA.
